Occasionally, more time is required if there is a lot of work to be done and your podiatrist will be able to advise you of the time needed to treat your particular condition. Typically, this tends to stay the same unless your condition changes.

This is a specialist comprehensive clinical assessment of the lower limb to assess the range and quality of motion of your joints and muscles whilst sitting, standing and walking, depending on the presenting problem. Lower back pain, knee and foot pain can all be linked to functional and postural misalignment in the lower limb. A range of treatment options including exercise prescription and simple or prescription orthotics (insoles) are available if required following biomechanical assessment.

This is for those who require initial fitting and issue of an orthotic device outside of a standard appointment.
We offer a range of different treatment options to help you with troublesome verrucae. These include caustic therapies, cryotherapy, Verrutop and sharp debridement.

Ultrasound therapy is an effective, non-invasive form of treatment performed on tissues damaged by injury or disease. The treatment involves the podiatrist applying a special gel to the affected area onto which a piece of equipment known as a transducer is placed. The transducer head is moved around continually for a period of time, usually 15 minutes. It is a fast and painless treatment for a range of musculoskeletal and soft tissue aches and pains.
Podiatrists are expert in lower limb wound care. Liaising with colleagues from other specialties to ensure high quality effective wound healing from simple cuts and tissue injuries to complex ulcerations requiring off-loading and redressing.
